​The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is a professional association comprised of women in construction and related industries.  The national chapter was established in 1955 by 16 founding members.  Today, women in more than 120 chapters across 47 sates are NAWIC members. You can become a chapter member by completing the online application, by attending a chapter meeting, or by requesting an application from the NAWIC office.  Student memberships are open to female students enrolled in construction-related programs at institutions of higher education and vocational programs.  NAWIC also offers memberships not affiliated with a local chapter.  To find out more about the different types of memberships, visit www.nawic.org.  A company can apply for one or more corporate chapter memberships or become a NAWIC Sponsor.

NAWIC Chicago Metro #325 chartered on March 26, 1988, the Chicago Metro chapter is part of the Midwest Region of the National Association of Women in Construction. NAWIC has over 4,500 members across the country. 

Locally the Chicago Metro chapter has over 80 members representing the diverse Chicago construction industry.

Membership is open to any woman working in the construction industry.
